My friend Jane is a bit of a bookworm.

－ Hey, Jenny, have you watched Avengers: Infinity war?

Jenny

－ Not yet. Why?

－ That’s great. I’m going to watch the movie tonight. You wanna come with me?

－ Oh! Trust me. I’d really love to! But I have a exam tomorrow, so I have to stay up late and hit the books tonight.

－ Feel sorry for you. But anyway, good luck for your exam.

do not judge a book by its cover

in someone’s good books

She has been in my good books ever since she stayed late to help me finish that project.

book v. 预订

I need to book tickets for the train.

read sb like a book

I never hide any secrets from my mum because she can read me like a book.

Girls and boys, you think you are so smart, but those little tricks can never fool your mom. She can always read you like a book.

keep the books：记账 cook the books：做假账

throw the book at someone

If you continue cheating in your exams I'm going to throw the book at you!

fiction: literature based on imagination

non-fiction: books based on real facts

# Fiction

Romance

Fifty Shades of Grey

Science Fiction

The Three Body Problem

Mystery

Queen of Crime

Adventure

Robinson Crusoe

# Non-fiction

Biography

Autobiography
